REVIEW: Pure Sport CBD
Disclaimer; I went into this pretty skeptical.
I'm wasn't anti CBD or anti weed, I just didn't really know anything about the product.
But upon talking to Grayson Hart about Pure Sport, I decided to give it a nudge.
Six weeks, taking it every day.
I tried not to be influenced by other reviews/endorsements from footy players or NFL stars.
And it was easy actually, I'm not (shockingly) a pro athlete. So my results were always going to be different.
Immediately, the first thing I noticed was improved sleep.
I wear a few hats in any given week and sleep for me has always been pretty scattered.
My brain just doesn't stop, so I toss and turn a lot.
Typically I get a disrupted 5- 5.5 hours a night.
But taking the oil at night really helped just quiet the mind, and I have been sleeping like a log for 6-7 hours a night.
Inflammation was the second thing.
CBD oil is THC free, and at it's core is essentially a natural alternative to opioids.
In sport this is going to be key.
So many athletes rely on opioids to get them through and end up developing unhealthy addictions to the shit.
I try and run at least three times a week, but the old knees don't crank like they used too.
I suffered for years with pretty bad tendonitis in my getaway sticks.
Nothing that ever required any heavy pain killers, I work in an office for fuck sakes.
But there was plenty of deep heat, ice and complaining to the Mrs.
Within 10-12 days of taking the CBD the pain/inflammation virtually went away.
I legitimately haven't been able to run pain-free since the year 6 cross country (where I finished a respectable 5th).
And lastly, anxiety.
I hate saying I suffer from anxiety, because I don't think it's fair to people who truly do.
I don't have anxiety attacks.
I'm not crippled by it like I know many people are, but I do deal with my own mild version on a week-to-week basis.
Since taking the oil daily, that has significantly improved.
This is the hardest benefit to explain, but essentially I'm just less stressed.
I'm not fearing the next step. And it's most noticeable in my breathing.
I used to get quiet short of breath when things became a bit hectic.
I'd get a real dim outlook on everything and a numb sensation in my hands and feet.
That's all now completely gone.
For me, this is the biggest endorsement I can give not just Grayson's product, but CBD on the whole.
Mentally, I'm clearer.
Physically, I'm stronger.
And for the first time in a long time, I can fucking sleep!
Part of it could definitely be placebo. But to be honest I don't care if it is.
I'm one of those guys where if it works, it works.
And for me it certainly did. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
